The thing is people can't control whether or not they are able to laugh things off you throw at them. Let's not mention this whole "fight situation" shit. He was hurt in his pride. Now whether or not he places "too" much value in his standing is another question but what happened in that moment was he got mad at a joke pulled on him.

You can't expect him to laugh it off when he *can't*, and you can't blame him for getting into a situation where you'd rather have him be able to either because he was forced into it. You can't blame someone for getting mad at things you do to them. Never ever. It just makes no sense.
