Issues 1-5 of the main series are out as well as the two micro series issues. So the Crysalis arc is out as well as the first issue of the NMM arc. The second issue of the NMM arc was leaked though.

Welcome back Dan. It's been a slow week, only news being that all MLP issues were in the comic top 100 for March, and were the best selling IDW comic once again.

We should get covers and synopsi for Micro #6 (AJ) and #9 (first of a two-parter) next week, along with #6's official release.

These are produced by the comic book company IDW. They are not officially canon but they aren't explicitly outside of the canon either. I believe the phrase was "canon if you want them to be".

IF you don't know anything about the comics you should stick around and read them. They are loads of fun.

Sounds like he was a huge fan of the show beforehand. It's a pretty thoughtful interview, not just PR:

Good to see you around doing the weekly storytime, Dan. No big news to really discuss this week, though. March issue sales dropped a bit but not terribly or anything. Ted Anderson (Pinkie micro) had a nice interview at RS. Unlike the first two micro writers, he's been into the show for a couple of years and he doesn't have previous professional comics experience. It'll be interesting to see how that works out.
