    I'm depressed, /lit/.

What I've always wanted (you can call me a loser, if you like) is a small, intimate community of people online who go to the same forum or whatever regularly, perhaps at first because they have common interests, but later perhaps because they all realize that the world is a harsh, cold place and this community is a source of succor and solidarity for them.

    Feel free to start mocking.

If you're depressed, you should read some E. M. Cioran\

Shit, go to one of those places where they let you make forums or websites for free. I made one a while back, it was a Silent Hill fansite I made, then made a forum to go with it.

aren't we all? sheesh. The very nature of 4chan runs counter- to the concept of individuality. This pic outta cheer you up; you're among friends here.

Those places are always depressing. At least, in my experience, they're always the skeletal remains of communities.
    >> Anonymous 03/31/10(Wed)00:48 No.497332
I used to frequent a forum like that.

It was pretty much a den of self loathing.

Yeah, I could never find members, but I figure if there were some people here who wanted a small forum to hang out at, I would not mind making it.

Well, yeah, but at least it would be sort of regular. As it is right now, my life is an irregular, static wasteland.

You're absolutely right. But right now I'm alone most of the time doing work, and I live in a shitty town without many options.

Also, you know how depression tends to demotivate you.

Well stop. I suffer from that shit legit and I'm sick of people using it colloquially. It removes emphasis from the fact that it's a legitimate psychological disorder and thus lowers the chance that people will actually get help for it.

Say you're down, or feeling blue, or (the aforementioned) ennui. /lit/ would suck your cock for using words like ennui.
