OP here. Had to look up the aspies thing myself:
aspie - 6 definitions - An [aspie] is one who has Asperger's Syndrome, which is believed to be part of the autism spectrum.
As for the genre limitation, as you can all see I do tend to stick with fantasy, though I don't mind science fiction (Asimov, Herbert, etc.); I'm not really closed to other genres but I guess you tend to read what you like, if you can suggest books from others genres that are interesting I'll give them a chance. Also, keep in mind these are the books I've bought, I have read more I just tend to use the library (Imagine that!)

Okay. Read some Iain M Banks. Player of Games. He is of the other genre of aspie-fiction.

The Dresden Files series is a fun read as long as you're not looking for anything DEEP. Brandon Sanderson also has some good stuff. +5 pts for Name of the Wind.
