Attention 4chan extension/user script/archive developers: Some time in the next few days, we'll be rolling out a complete HTML rewrite of the imageboards.
The design will remain the same, but the underlying HTML/CSS is completely new, and validates HTML5/CSS3 (with some tweaks to account for cross-browser compatibility).

As a regular user, these changes should not affect you. You will need to update your 4chan browser extensions/user scripts when their maintainer updates them to be compatible with the changes.
The official 4chan Chrome extension will be ready to go when the updates happen, and 4chan X should be ready soon. We'll post more details on the day of the migration!

I keep all of my retarded friends, but I don't make fun of them for what they post behind their backs or anything. I have plenty of my own flaws, after all.

Sometimes I think people are going to delete me when I post, like, a Stockhausen clip or Einsturzende Neubauten. But nobody really gives a shit. Once in a while someone chimes in with the "this is music?" line, which is easy to ignore.

It would have been nice if he actually did his research.

There is actually a SHORTAGE of male teachers, men are being encouraged to get degrees in teaching and are being picked above women. The reason for the shortage is that more women go on to become teachers.

I agree that men are subject to sexism on some levels, but he could have picked a better example. Instead, he made an observation then extrapolated reasons to support it. In his own words, "you can't just refute a social phenomenon because you feel like it"

The main problem: he claimed that this was the reason (the 'obvious' reason), yet there has been absolutely 0 research to prove that this is the point.

Maybe every school is under the thumb of an evil organisation of women to hold men back and keep teaching jobs to themselves. But there's no evidence. Both are possible, yet unsupported scenarios.

He picked a bad example, deal with it.

Let's go back to 1st grade logic/reasoning. Absence of evidence is proof of what? And before you shit all over the place, remember that this is a recent phenomenon. And it could take a while before the full effects of it are understood. Especially, the stigma of the male teacher.

Also, don't build a strawman(or should I say woman) out of this reasonable point. You've offered nothing to disprove his original claim except piss-poor reasoning.
