To me a book is like a really serious relationship. I really have to think long and hard if I want to start a book and see it through to the end. Sometimes I just pick up a book and read it without thinking. Usually the results are disastrous and I end up with a horrible aftertaste of a book that was simply no meant fo me. Am I alone?

Reading Chuck Palahnuik is like dating a crazy bitch who likes scat play. Gross.

i read asimov's foundation and it drew in me a map to see things that didn't exist to further a stable feeling in a very unstable situation. it was disastrous and i had and existential breakdown and serious psychosis.
