There was a thread on here the other day about how lesbians would all make horrible parents because they're all crazy feminists or something. It was weird how many people actually agreed.

So, why do all you guys think that lesbians are all batshit insane tumblr feminists? I have yet to meet a feminist lesbian. The only crazy feminists out there that I've seen are either straight or "pansexual". I mean, really, if you think about it, most lesbians have no reason to be feminists because they have no emotional or sexual investment in men. In fact, lesbians tend to get along with men better than straight women (feminist or not) for this very reason. So why all the hate? Have any of you actually met a lesbian?

Lesbian here. I'm a "feminist" in the sense that I don't like it when dudes are dicks to girls for no reason, but you pretty much hit the nail on the head -- I don't have any emotional or sexual investment in dudes (overall, anyway), so why would I waste time deep in feminist rhetoric? If you're a cool dude, you're a cool dude; if you're a cool chick, you're a cool chick. No need for rampant misogyny or misandry.

I'm always surprised by the huge number of gay misogynists on this board. Why would gay men hate women so much? Is it because they had single mothers? Or is it because they're all super-edgy "androphiles" who don't like to be associated with those "faggots"? Or is it because they used to like women, but couldn't find a woman willing to fuck them, so they settled for men? Are they prison gay?
