tumblr is a lot like /b/ where it's important to let them have their corner of the internet to self contain themselves. The same way you would avoid some dork wearing a guy fawkes mask, I know who to avoid when they start using tumblr buzzwords so I'm thankful for that

It's just idiots that think that wearing a mask and being anonymous is inherently scary, because it makes the other person harder to get back at and because it signifies they're lack of interest in associating with you on equal footing, "refusing to show them your true face."

But there's nothing inherently frightening about a mask. People in the past and in dangerous places who wear masks and are feared are feared because they're dangerous, and because the mask was usually a helmet that protected them and made them harder to kill. There's nothing frightening about some pussy who's wearing a mask. It just indicates that you're dumb, since you don't know any of what I just said.

I thought that tumblr stereotypes were mostly way over-exaggerated except a few of the really crazy SJ blogs and I was naively scrolling through my dashboard (filled mostly with nature pictures and porn) and there was this one jewel popped up. It was this kid complaining about how much he hates men and the patriarchy and it was so hilarious I thought it had to be satire it was just too good. I went to his blog and it was this "ftm" who doesn't even bind; basically a girl who wanted male pronouns and met every cliche about transtrenders. I never laughed so hard in my life.

I'll admit I have a tumblr because /toy/ went to shit and people fled to there because at least there's some moderation and you can block people but holy fucking does some of the stuff that pops up annoys me. They come up with strawmen to argue against all the god damn time. Like during E3 someone tried to say people were mad that they added a female character to the new Smash Bros. when Smash Bros. has had females since the beginning and nobody would actually be mad about that.
