I avoid public restrooms at all costs. As MtF, I use the women's bathroom when I absolutely have to. Very quickly. Had no problems so far.

Normally I use the women´s restroom. However, when there is a line in front I go to the men´s restroom. When the men inside are looking awkward I say: "I'm a guy, just check my passport".

I've never been outed or given a second glance. I'm of the opinion that if you appear nervous people will pick up on that, so my advice is to appear calm and cool.

MtF here. I have never had a problem using the restroom. I sometimes get stares for being so tall, but I sometimes get chatted up as well. To date, absolutely 0 problems using any public restrooms. I am insanely timid in restrooms, though. Not afraid of being discovered as trans, just afraid of being attacked. I was assaulted as a kid when I used a public restroom, so I've been terrified whenever I enter one.

I recently went to a bar that had unisex toilets. It felt really weird taking a piss in the neighbouring cubicle to my friend's girlfriend... and I'm not sure why. But I found the experience refreshing at the same time. It felt progressive just seeing people of all genders and orientations using the same bathroom without any fear. literally just had an incident at work, partially transitioned but sort of presenting androgynous most of the time (officially, male, but probably could pass if i really tried but still sort of depressed with other stuff & live with unsupportive parents)

Straight guy here. I don't want any of you in my bathroom... ugh.

I've seen my girlfriend pee in front of me, so it's not weird for me to hear an attractive girl pee in a stall. We all have the same parts and same bodily functions. However, I have severe shy bladder and have a very difficult time peeing in public restrooms. I once almost failed a drug test because I couldn't bring myself to pee in the cup.

I would never have sex in a restroom because that's disgusting.

I've been to restrooms in gay bars and clubs where the men actively go out of their way to display their dicks while pissing. There's even guys that will just stand around in there all night to watch. I find that kind of thing absolutely disgusting.

That said, I've gotten hard at a urinal more than once while listening to a hot guy in a stall grunting and straining. That little sigh they let out after dropping a heavy deuce is the best.

I have no problem with trans folk using the restroom of the gender they identify with. When it gets right down to it, you don't really know for sure what ANYBODY has under their clothes unless you've seen them pantsless. As long as they're not bothering me, I really couldn't give a fuck.
