Hey /k/

I was walking my dog today when a neighbor's dog got out of the house and began to charge my dog. I have a small maltese and he was so destressed that he was able to slip out of his collar and ran all the way around the block at full speed, back to my house. When I finally got back he was waiting outside. The other dog gave up chasing him after a shot time.

What is the easiest way to defend yourself from an attacking dog? When can I legally use force to defend myself or my dog from an attacking dog?

I would rather use pepper spray than start shooting the dog. I was thinking of bear spray, but I don't want something that will seriously harm the other dog. A stun gun or batton or something along those lines is a possibility too.

you can use force against an attacking dog when it actually attacks you or your property. pre-emptive force is also acceptable, but not to the same extent damage wise. as for easiest way to defend yourself? fuck i dont know. most dogs will not bite you have a firm grip on one of their mandibles, but thats a last chance thing.

dogs dont have the same rights people do, you can use force if you feel threatened, even if you do get charged itll be some kind of animal cruelty, thats just a ticket
