I am an Australian shooter and I only know one guy who has ever been permitted to CCW. You will only be allowed if you can show a credible threat to your life.

That guy used to work as a private courier for Rolex or some shit and would carry cases of them around, hence the special permit.

    Nope.
Czech Republic and Slovakia have good gun laws, get a permit and you can get pretty much everything. Guns are cheap, too--a milsurp (yes, that means f/a) Vz. 58 will run you about the price of a nugget over here.
Also in rural Greece shit's apparently fairly unenforced, and then in the Ukraine if you've got money fuck the law.

    Bulgarian noguns fag here.
You need a hunting license, which usually cost more than most guns themselves since you have to pay the examiners to get it. And you need to do a ton of tests to get it (about hunting, etc).
Generally, it's not worth getting a gun license here unless you really like to hunt.
Hunting trips here in BG consist of 10 guys with full auto saigas shooting a deer at the same time, usually.

    >>9861362
You'll find that the CCW relates directly to his job, and if he was carrying while on his own time the cops would ream his ass.
    >> Anonymous 10/04/11(Tue)03:53 No.9861467
    >>9861460
Forgot to mention that if you don't live in a big city, you can get pretty 'friendly' with the LGS and the cops and you'll be probably allowed to get any gun you want without license as long as you don't cause much trouble.
    >> Anonymous 10/04/11(Tue)04:00 No.9861488
    >>9861464

Yeah, In Australia security guards involved with cash transfer can get a license to carry but only while on the job.

If someone broke into their house and they shot the bloke they would be destroyed in court.

You can get guns in germany... even a ccw, but the process is fuck-all confusing. There are 4 different coloured tiers, each one allowing you to do a bit more/own a bit more.
    >> Anonymous 10/04/11(Tue)05:25 No.9861670
it is fairly easy to get guns for sporting purposes in Germany or if you are a hunter. CCW is nearly impossible if you are not an endangered judge or something similar. There are also no "4 different coloured tiers" either.

    Danefag speaking.

It's shit, you can get rifles for historical shooting and hunting. But a permit is 800 dollars, than you need a government approved weapons safe.
Pistols are only allowed if you are a permanent and active member of a shooting club, and have been so for 2 years. Also guns are only allowed in the safe, in a transportation suit thingy, and at the range.

Pretty easy chilling out with guns here in Czechland.
The permit takes much less money and time than a driver's license and it's a "buy anything for the rest of your life, just let us know you bought it" type permit.
More paperwork for full auto and it's may-issue (while everything else is shall-issue).
