I think this recent incident with the lard ass in Florida has shown us what happens when any jerkoff can buy a handgun. He didn't even know how to properly use the thing, but suddenly he's in a position where he is threatening people with it.

I don't think guns should be banned. I do think guns should not be sold to poor and uneducated people. Some will argue that criminals will find a way to get them anyway, but this lard ass is a perfect example of a guy who probably wouldn't have been able to, due to a lack of criminal connections. He was just an angry mouth breather.
    >> Anonymous 12/15/10(Wed)14:07 No.7868822
more or less agreed. prevent nignogs from buying them and a lot of gun crime will not happen. yes they can still buy them but they will be a lot more expensive.

    >I think this recent incident with the lard ass in Florida has shown us what happens when any jerkoff can buy a handgun.

Indeed. It has shown that uneducated jerkoffs only pose a threat to themselves even when armed.
This is a victory for gun rights advocates everywhere.

i might have an unhealthy obsession with guns but if im being honest with myself I agree with op. law abiding citizens in good standing should have all the guns their hearts desire. hobos and nignog gangstas should not. who can disagree with that?

    Dear OP:

I think it's a bad idea for kids to get a hold of tobacco and alcohol. Therefore, I think we should institute legal age limits making it only legal to sell alcohol and tobacco to adults. If we make these laws, we will successfully keep these dangerous and unhealthy products out of the hands of minors.

    What do you think?

Kind of suprised nobody mentioned this, but lard ass was a prohibited person. He wasn't supposed to be able to buy a gun. But gee, that really stopped him huh? The only people you'd hurt by restricting access to firearms, is the people who choose to follow the laws. More restrictions is not the answer.

What this shows is really that the least safe place to be is the one where everyone is screened for weapons and unarmed, because then only the asshole gets through armed.

Had this happened in the presence of some armed citizens, he'd have been dropped before he had a chance to miss all those people arrayed 10' in front of him.

Duke's Facebook page also features a profile photo showing a 'V' in a red circle - the logo used in the 2006 film 'V for Vendetta' starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving.

The movie's plot tells of a renegade known only as V, a Guy Fawkes-like figure who uses terrorism to fight against his totalitarian society.

It is also being used as a rallying call by members of Anonymous, the group of hackers carrying out revenge attacks on companies and governments that have blocked the whistleblowing website WikiLeaks.

Members of Anonymous - a very loosely organised group of young hackers, many in their teens - have adopted the Guy Fawkes masks used in the movie as their own. Some were spotted wearing them at demonstrations protesting the incarceration of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in London last week.

Duke - who calls himself a 'Freedom Fighter' on his Facebook profile - includes a link to the WikiLeaks site on his page.

Somebody tried to rob a gas station and everyone in the store opened fire on him. Upwards of 100 rounds were fired and he was hit over 40 times.
