Any one have pictures of the North Korean Tank barricades?Pic related, its an Anti Tank bridge in the south
how would that even work? height restrictions?
have they not seen any pictures of modern tanks then?
yeah how does this work?
>>6149380Those black and yellow stripped walls are loaded to blow, if a tank of anything unwanted comes under they bring the heavy as fuck roof down.
Okay, this is a wild guess just for fun. They place some explosives into the supports and when this thing collapses the top part forms a barrier.
That can be cleared within minutes.
>>6149394holy shit, yeah, that could actually be fairly effective.
Should have put up some dragons teeth instead..
>>6149395Not without a shitload of explosives, thats steel and rebar re-enforced high portland concrete. The same kinda shit nazis used on their bunkers.
Thast Anti Tank bridge is oustide of Soul. there are HUGE once on both sides of the border, they are not designed to STOP a tank but to slow down a Blitz
>>6149389and then the next tank goes over the pyramid?also it doesn't sound very safe, explosions near a road
>>6149394that's stupid. its like someone showing where a mine is, thus losing its element of surprise.
>>6149394I just said that.
I was under the impression that the Taurus Judge was the sidearm of their army, they arnt idiots after all.
>>6149412They can't, the tanks will get stuck. Hedgehogs and Dragons teeth, that'll stop them noko's.
>>6149411>seoul>>6149412A tank couldn't climb that, its fucking huge. And its not supposed to be safe, its supposed to stop the flood.
in the North
>>6149428Its all about slowing tanks down
>>6149428>>6149434good ol' korean block rocks
>>6149434
>>6149395The 100+ ton concrete slab that makes up the roof can be cleared within minutes?
I'm sure most of these places have been pre zeroed for artillery. Try clearing it while being under fire is another thing all together.
The bridge is just a part of the MLR. Fighting positions and obstacles the tanks have to go through.
>>6149445This. Never put minefields or obstacles in places that you cannot affect with AT fire of artillery. Even if it slows them down for one hour they would be sitting ducks in that killbox.
>>6149445they wouldn't waste arty on an obstacle, its not precise enough and could be better spent pounding troop positions and enemy strong points or cities.
>>6149370cool pix anon, delivear moar
>>6149428couldt a tank just go in the grass
>>6149445>>6149452OHmy bad, i thought you meant that they would use arty to blow the obstacle.please continue
>>6149452Why hello there, General STFU.
>>6149452The artillery is not for the obstacle it's for the people trying to get through it.
>>6149455where it would sink in depending on the time of the year.korea has awesome monsoons. when i was younger i used to play in them all the time.
>>6149455They have no grass there, all eaten.
>>6149445Someone understands. Main tactic, slow them down. That bridge would slow things down a lot. Add hedgehogs, dragons teeth, minefields and it'll be days before they get to you.
>>6149465im actually a Brigadierand my name is Mud
>>6149472too bad the Han river mines are too deep and the infiltration tunnels can't be arty'd.
wouldnt stop air cav
>>6149473Allright, Brigadier Mudkips.
>>6149490Don't think the north has any.
moar korean emplacements?
>>6149504they have a handful of MD-500s and Hind-Es
>>6149493http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=953PkxFNiko&feature=channel>>6149490>>6149504they have helo units, very few though.
>>6149513I doubt they are in flying condition. At least the 500s surely arent!
>>6149504the north doesnt have to invade the south could be the aggressor. were disscussing either sides tank traps
