If I could, yes. I totally would go, not so much for the money to be made there (artifacts), but becase there are many times in a month where I feel out of place in established society.

I would go for an AK74 of some type, due to the abundance of ammunition and parts, but if I could get my hands on a SCAR-L it would be equally loved. I'm not much for pistols but I do kinda like the CZ-75 design so that would be on my list.

Masks with external filters are the way to go. Then you can swap filters on the fly, especially in a place like the Zone.

Ok so im planning on getting back into stalker, ive finished all 3 already but i want to do another play through of call pf pripyat. ive done it without mods and ive given misery a shot, i loved the updated graphics and pretty much everything about it other than how bullshit the amount of ammo you find is, i mean a bandit can shoot the shit out of you then when you loot his body he has 3 bullets and a bit of salami on him.........

Depends on how long. If for a few months / weeks at a time then yeah. Wouldn't spend winters in there because of first hand experience on how living in tents during winter sucks but summer / early autumn I'd be okay with.

Probably something I'm familiar with like AK-74 type weapons and maybe a sawn-off side-by-side barrel shotgun / pump action shotgun as a backup weapon and a 9mm pistol for sidearm.

Misery was awesome at first but it tries so hard to be realistic that it becomes unrealistic, you will gind like 3 or 4 bullets at a time so it takes a lot of time to get started. im currently downloading call of pripyat complete to give that a shot, ive heard good things from it and it looks much better than vanilla

Yeah, that's what I'm downloading now too. Though, I've played CoP for like fifty hours, so a graphical overhaul and a few fixes here and there don't really seem like enough to make me go back, so I plan on trying out the S.M.R.T.E.R. Pripyat mod too, since it adds a shitload of new guns, areas, etc.
