How
would that be bad? So long as freedoms from unwarranted searches and
seizures, to a fair and speedy trial, from self incrimination, and other
such things are respected, why would it matter what patch they have on
their uniforms?
From a practical standpoint, having military
personnel conduct police work is inefficient because of the different
skillsets and training, but I see no inherent grand and horrifying
violation of human rights in using military to conduct police work. |
