Reduce the number of calories in your food intake and break it up into 5-6 meals a day with 3-4 hours between each meal.

Exercise either daily or every other day.

Make sure you are getting your proper intake of water (1/2 your weight in ounces).

Find something you are interested in and do it (something outdoors would be best).

Ah, I was just kidding. Go to Gensoyko.

I can't find anything that I would like to do and things I liked don't look appealing at all and everything seems so hard to do.

Here a trick I'll share with you OP. This method is even faster then meds.

Stay up all night (or whatever your sleep scheduled is), basically skip a cycle/day of sleep. This will cure depression most times, at least it works for me. Don't write it off until you try it, shit works.

Your body pumps endorphins when you haven't slept for a long period of time.

It would just be quicker for OP to go on a run, but like he'll ever do that.

Stop giving a fuck about the World and gain some overconfidence.
Then proceed to do everything thinking you are the best and then blame the World for everything that happens.

Not all depression is clinical, so first step is to shake up your life (not easy to do):

-Drop 20 pounds if fat (or gain 10 pounds if scrawny)
-take a month long break from your hobbies (habbits) like 4chan, animu, and vidya.
-Change jobs, or if no job get a token job
-try drastically new experiences (sky diving, white water rafting, visit a dominatrix)
-put in an honest effort to make changes in your life before you reach for the antidepressants.

Just shake things up and see if anything "clicks". Doctors are way too quick to diagnose clinical depression and start handing out hazardous pills, so start out by trying to see if you are just miserable with where you are at in life and making changes.
