What helps a lot with discipline is setting obtainable goals--the kind that also serve a purpose.
I
really don't know how to go about that for you, since I'm no life coach
or teacher, but I would suggest on the outset to focus on mathematics.
From there you can easily branch off into accounting, finances, and
programming.
Calculus helps especially for the first two.
The
only thing I can really say is you have to set goals. You have to keep
track of said goals. Once you start accomplishing the smallest tasks,
then you'll start feeling like you're making progress, and you'll be
more inclined to learn more. Also, finding the right way to learn
something can be difficult--not everyone is cut out for textbook
learning. Try and find what method of teaching (visual, manual, textual,
aural) you respond to best and find material in those styles. |
