I have no idea how to crack it - usual method (looking for temporary, unpacked file) doesn't work, as the game doesn't seem to create it in any usual locations (game folder, temp folder, windows search for BGI.exe yelds no results either). Process explorer shows that the game is running off original BGI.exe and no additional processes are spawned.

So it's even worse than feared?

The main character has probably the biggest hard-on for Japan that I've ever seen... but otherwise it's pretty interesting. Quite informative at any rate! There's quite a bit of interesting stuff, and the ability to jump to google maps is neat. Dual language display is pretty cool. The album has additional info about all the places visited, and you can jump back to any of the scenes for any of the locations. There's not a lot of CG (no fanservice beyond the one scene for each girl), and there's some reuse of some backgrounds from old overdrive games. Most all of the music is probably reused from other games. You do in the end hook up with the girl you spend most time with, but all-ages version is sad. Still not bad for the price.

Well yeah, a $12 english only game release wouldn't be that feasible considering the amount of people that will probably buy it if they didn't cut some corners. Most of the music are reused, and some backgrounds, although I think there's more new backgrounds than reused ones. I was put off a bit by it at the start but it ended up being better than I expected.
