08/21/11(Sun)10:12 No.7771500>>7771466 I'm talking about magical girl Sayaka.
Nonetheless,
it's strongly suggested that witches are still the magical girls they
used to be, except their perceptions are fucked up. It's not unlikely
that witches see magical girls that have come to kill them as monsters.
Evidence towards this idea is found most explicitly in Gertrud's
barrier, she employs servants with coherent tasks and said servants
perceive magical girls as unusual flowers. Likewise, Charlotte might
have eaten Mami because she genuinely thinks that Mami is a large piece
of cheese, assisted by her blonde hair. Madoka and Sayaka accordingly
would have been different items of food and therefore not worthy of her
interest.
Elsa Maria is another witch with a clear and
understandable goal, it's just that she tries to accomplish this goal in
a twisted manner. It's plausible that after the release of despair and
the collapse of the witch's energy into a grief seed, the witch gets to
live in a realm to her liking until killed by magical girls. Most
witches we've seen have barriers suitable for their character, Gertrud
is an ojou-sama and gets a mansion and servants, Charlotte likes sweets
and can create them in any amount, Elsa Maria gains the freedom to save
everyone, Kirsten can store any item she likes and take it easy as a
shut-in with her collection so on. They're more or less living an ideal
life. |
