I'd say the amount of VN threads being made is roughly the same, but /jp/ is much faster now. Unless it's a Rance thread with half of /v/'s userbase posting in it, it will eventually be bumped off the board. I was used to posting in long-running VN threads, that would be there even after I went to sleep/school. Now more often than not, the thread will be gone, or has been kept off the front page long enough for discussion to be frozen. I don't feel like posting my own threads, or bumping something that seems really old/dead, so I tend to give up.

I'm a relatively normal guy, I hold down some jobs, I have an apartment, I have a cat, I socialize just fine. I was even in a band a year or two ago who went on tour.
