    Why do you like Japan so much?

    This is an honest question and I don't mean to be offensive, i'm really intrigued. I understand that manga/anime have huge pulling power, but I can't understand how liking animu could be the sole reason for someone dedicating their life to learning Japanese and eventually moving to Japan to teach English. (okay, maybe that's exaggerated but you understand what I mean)

    It's not so much that I like Japan, I just like a lot of the shit that comes from Japan.

    I like visual novels. I like manga. I like some anime. I think Japanese girls are attractive.

    If all this shit came from some where else, I guess I'd like that place just as much.
