    Go to cinema in Germany:
    >pay 5 or 6 euros for a ticket
    >get a small popcorn for 2.50

    Go to cinema in England:
    >pay 8 pounds for a ticket
    >pay 4 pounds for a small popcorn

    British people, explain this bullshit!

I'd imagine Poland to be cheaper. My friend said that a busticket was no more than 50 cents (though that was a while ago)

Try $18 in Los Angeles. Second run theaters are much, much cheaper though. It depends on what city you're in, as well.

Seriously? About 4 years ago in North Carolina I was paying 7 dollars for a ticket. Considering that coming from Germany and converting my money into dollars almost doubled the amount it felt really cheap.

Many prices in Poland are on the same level or higher than in West Europe. Of course you can find exceptions, but for example food costs the same if not more.

    There are some prices here

although not all are correct, the cinema is one that is approximately right.

    Britfag here.
    Yeah it, fucking sucks.
A lot of cinemas do cheap Tuesdays where a ticket is about £4.50 or if you have an Orange network phone you can get 2 for 1 tickets on a Wednesday. I only ever go on these days.
Also Fuck Cinema food! By food from the shops before you get there and hide it in your bag.

Did you know a bag of popcorn makes 100% profit? The bag its in costs more than the actual popcorn.

    Brazil

    8-12 dollars per ticket
3 dollars for the small popcorn
5 dollars for the overcharged parking ticket even though you only parked for 2hrs
10 dollars, twice the above, if you take the bus with another person (assuming you aren't a miserable roneryfag who goes to the movies alone)
6 dollars for the cheapest dinner around
20 dollars for a few beers later
