ITT: nationalists who don't understand the economic consequences of joining the euro and base their opinions on the pigshit that the media produces.

i for one see it as an inevitability that can only bring prosperity in the long run. when a government brave enough to take the leap finally does, you'll all realise what gullible mugs you've been.

i wish you'd fuck off, i really can't be arsed whipping my economics textbook out but until you've studied it gtfo. im getting trolled so bad.

essentially the euro is a great thing for britain, the only reason we haven't already joined it, is because of public opinion and the fact that we were bigger and more powerful than the eurozone so whilst we would've gained from a monetary union with germany, italy and france, the smaller states would've been a burden.

at last we're in a position where the EU can finally give something back and ignorant wankers such as yourself are the only thing holding us back.

the lisbon treaty does in fact grant more power to the individual

a demonstration of the democracy of the EU lies in that parties such as the BNP and the pirate party, were able to gain seats.

whilst some might disagree with this, you can't deny that the individual has more say than for instant the general elections in this country, where you might as well stay at home for all the good it'll do you.
