new hampshire... believe it or not, new hamshire, like the rest of
"Massachusetts and friends", is actually quite liberal. they have a
democratic majority in their state assembly, have voted almost
overwhelmingly in the past few elections for democratic candidates, and
there aren't really as many rednecks as you might expect. The extremely
libertarian policies (for New England anyway) can be somewhat
attributed to to the massive amounts of hippies up there. Oh, and as
much as the teabagtards on the internet try to glorify NH as some kind
of western paradise, its pretty much just another county in
Massachusetts where the roads are made of dirt and youre likely to see
poor old men with beards and wifebeater shirts living in shacks in the
middle of the forest. hardly a superior state.
all in all
youre more likely to find a gun owner in NH than you are in vermont,
maine, or mass, but honestly its not as conservative as people on the
internet make it out to be. |
