The following problems should be fixed: images saving as BMPs in Internet Explorer, Last-Modified headers being sent on HTML, and several tweaks that should make posting more reliable.

If you are still encountering any of these issues, please send an e-mail to moot@4chan.org with details. Thanks!

Some Basic Guidelines

Artists: your art will be analyzed and deconstructed to help you improve your techniques and methods. If comments are particularly distasteful and/or insulting, and fail to offer advice which you as an artist can benefit from, please report them, but do not waste our time with comments you find too critical, harsh, or you otherwise personally disagree with.

Critics: have at least some knowledge of aesthetics as miniscule errors in a person's work can go unnoticed by amateurs. Keep your critique concise and, should you spot any flaws, give the artist some tips to assist them in their correction. Per the artists' guidelines, blatantly disparaging or tasteless critiques are not welcome. This does not mean you are required to stroke the artist's ego, but there is also no reason to be unpleasant towards them.

For those looking for assistance with drawing tablets, e.g. "which is best for my budget?", please see /g/.

For your convenience, we've compiled this brief list of guides on the basics of drawing, painting, and calligraphy.

Bear in mind that our list is subjective and may not contain all the information you're seeking. If that's the case, feel free to start a thread to request additional material. Fellow autist/ic/s will do their best to help you find what you need.
