So I attempted to re-make this with photoshop using the pen tool since I cant draw smooth lines if my life depended on it. I also didn't draw a face because I suck at drawing faces. (note, I'm the same person as this post)

The shoulders are a little bit pointed, and I didn't do any detail on the hands. Still suck at faces so I avoided that so I just drew the cross lines so it didn't look blank.

You wait a couple of weeks and it "still" doesn't happen?

Do you draw at least almost every day? Why the hell not? If you really want to learn something, you have to actually DO IT, and if you don't even have the motivation for that, you're just lazy.

I'm not trying to put you down, but seriously, just DO something. If it's physically possible to practice an hour a day, that means the only thing preventing you is that you don't really want to. You can learn absolutely everything, all you gotta do is chin up and fucking do it. Talent is ridiculously overrated, some people just have the right motivation to practice all the fucking time.

So from now on, either you practice and SUCK every day until you get better, or you fail right now and stop whining.

It's more like it's difficult because I'm a perfectionist and can't be happy with something I think looks ugly. While I full well know that it takes time to be good at drawing, when you quit half way through things because they look like shit, it hinders your own development.

I want to get better at it, but drawing shit will still be shit, no matter how many times I draw it.

Yeah but it's like, you've gotta deal with the shit, to do the good stuff man, I've got SO MANY crappy drawings that I'd be ashamed to show anyone, but like you still gotta do them. Then when they're done you can say "This looks like poo, but next time I'm gonna try this...."

BESIDES, this is the internet, you are sort of anynomous here, so no one(by this I mean a real person) will know if you post something crappy (and maybe learn from it)

So throw away your inhibitions and don't be afraid to fuck up or you'll die having accomplished nothing, and your last few seconds will be shitty upon this realization.
