She starred in a gimmicky youtube video that went viral. It was her playing uninspiring violin arrangements over typical brostep shit (and you know how those teenagers flock to the wobble bass). She does a bunch of crazy leg movements and twirls in the video while running through some extremely cool settings. The camera work is hip as fuck too. If I remember correctly it does these quick pans and cuts to new angles every two seconds (again, to keep little kids interested). So I guess she attracted a bunch of morons who listen to bad music and now we are in the midst of a few who think she's anything more than average-looking (she's not).

She's a multi-instrumental deep house/minimal techno producer and DJ.
She released one of my favorite albums of 2012, her self-titled debut.

I don't think she's known for dancing, but honestly if you think OP's girl is much of a dancer, I have bad news for you. My sister has danced all her life, was a NFL cheerleader for several years, and now teaches classes and I can promise you she would scoff at someone calling this girl a talented dancer for sprinting around like a fairy and doing some of the most elementary ballerina-esque poses.
