Sweden here, I'm really heartbroken to hear about his death. This mans art has affected me so much and his passing is a great loss. My whole life I've been a great fan and ... I really don't have any words to sum up how much he has inspired me.

Canadian here. I'm very sad about the death of Moebius. I'm an 80's kid so Heavy Metal was a big part of my imagination as a youth, much as my mother hated it....

Moebius always had this crazy power to immediately transport me out of my time and place, into his mind.

I'm surprised at how upset I am at his passing.

His art had a casual feel, as if you were looking at a photo of another country. You just instandly beleved it; it was as real as you were. I will never feel the same about another artist.

This is an amazing thread. I've come across his art a little bit in the past and am a huge Heavy Metal fan but never have looked at so much of it all at once. His art is truly awe-inspiring, very sorry to hear of his passing.
