i like it a lot. i originally thought it was going to turn out to be
some stupid girly comedy. but i watched the cancer scare episode, and
that was one good episode. not many television shows can pull off a
cancer episode that well, especially not comedies. since then ive been
watching it every week. i think the writing is really witty and the
actors are very good in their comedic roles. the show has kind of small,
quick, witty, constant jokes throughout the episodes. not so much the
subject matter of the jokes, but the style i just described reminds me
somewhat of how arrested development presented its jokes. now dont get
me wrong, im not calling the two shows equivalent, but the fact that the
jokes are like small and fast-paced reminds me of AD. i think the show
is going to continue to get better. again ill reference that cancer
episode. the writing and the actors were able to pull that off with
appropriate humor and sorta stressful realism that you rarely see on
television now. like it had funny parts when necessary, but it also had a
sense of stress and tenderness at rough patches. it was really good.
since that episode, i think the show has continued to improve since its
start.
