It's shit.

They took a decent mobile browser, and tried to make an entire OS around it. And it's just NOT good. I mean, come-on. When all your apps are HTML5 and all web-based, you've basically just build ChromeOS for a phone. And one HUGE problem with that, is that means that all apps use some amount of mobile data. And with capped data these days, on most people's data plans, that's terrible.

ANON 1: FFOS and ChromeOS suck because they store the apps on your phone, rather than posting them to an online account that your phone can easily refer to.

YOU: No. That's a myth.

First of all, I would hope that the apps really are stored on the phone, because having to use the internet for all my apps would suck when I don't have internet, or I want to be anonymous. Please explain both any potential flaws in my reasoning, and where would look for information that ANON 1 is wrong.
