Again and I'll I'll answer this question when we think about what's happening with the company and we think that that's phenominal value for our customers. I think the success that we're driving great value uh to our customers and we think that the creative cloud and the return of investment on that marketing spend that's going digital and understanding that the collaboration features that you have with creative cloud is not just for individuals. We recently announced a creative cloud for teams, we think that's the best offering for customers. We really believe that that, you know, when you think of the creative cloud. And, I, again, all I can say is when we think we have a great value uh to our customers. When Adobe thinks about how we want to make sure that the value that customers, whether they be individuals all the way best way to large enterprises, are getting through the creative cloud. And, I, again, all I can say is when we think that that's phenominal value for our customers. When Adobe thinks about how we want to make sure we attract the next generation, again, I I ah, the future of the leaders in terms of the amount of marketing spend is relevant. When you look at it holistically we look at our solutions in that space we think we have the local team continue to work with customers to make sure that the return of investment on that marketing spend that's going... Thank you I really appreciate your coming again.

If anything, I think this news might actually make GIMP better. Or at the very least, improve the developmental work on it. The main problem I have with GIMP is that it looks and feels terrible. If it looked and felt more like photoshop, as a real replacement, then I think it would be adopted a lot more.

Piracy never hurt Creative Suite. It's simply not priced for individuals. They're better off if people just pirate it for personal use, since using PS at home is just free training for if/when you enter the industry. It's the reason why their DRM is so shitty.

>It translates the Windows binary
I'm on your side, but that's not entirely correct. It maps the untouched binary into memory the same way that Windows does, then loads FOSS reimplementations of any required DLLs. It's as native as you can get. Lots of people think Wine does complicated "emulation," but it's best to think of Wine as a PE loader with support libraries. It goes through no more layers than a Qt or GTK+ app.

It even shares a lot of code with ReactOS, which could hardly be describes as an "emulator" or even a "compatibility layer," It's a reimplementation.

>you should know that your skills are going to limit you much more than your tools
that's true. But you can still be limited by your tools and if you're trying to make a livelihood out of your hobby you gotta care about making a steady income.

You have a choice of either rusing Photoshop or GIMP. Photoshop may cost money, but if you're using this for any kind of paid work you'll end up earning MUCH less by only using GIMP. So what's the benefit to using gimp if it doesn't save you money? Liking the open source ideology? That's all it has going for it. Most people don't care for that, especially creative. It's neat but their not gonna turn down work or restrict their salary dramatically for it.
