I'm a student, but I work at a convenience store part time also.

NEETs should die in a fire
>>

We should, but we won't. And there's not much you can do about it but get angry.
>>

Slave's butthurt.
>>
I just started a new job. I wish the training started monday instead of a week from monday, I'll have another whole week with nothing to do before I can finally start being vaguely useful.

We have those curvy, low-walled "cube"icles, hopefully I'll have my own sometime soon. I just wish it wasn't so casual around the office, I waited all this time to feel like a grownup and I can't even wear a necktie.

Unemployed master race
I will learn programming
And I will make a video game
And it will make money for me

In reality news I have no idea what the fuck I want to do.
>>
>>35261378
>>35261417
That's kind of true. Remember to wisely use money you earn so you can stop working asap. Do/buy less, live more.

>implying a NEET isn't a slave to their parents

>>35261510
More like the other way around (if at all).

Part time employment master race.

I only work around 25 hours a week and manage to live off it easily.

>Being a full time wage slave
>Being a lifetime parent/government handout slave

Life is good.
>>
>>35261536
No matter who you get your money from, your parents, the state, whatever, you are still dependent on someone else in a higher degree than an employed person. Maybe slave is the wrong word, leech is more appropriate.

NEET on autismbux master race

I work in an office in a factory, mainly just creating SAP tickets.

I used to be one of the lower plebs, now I'm a middle pleb.

If I'm lucky I might make it to upper pleb one day.

Still doing (unpaid) internships in the lab to get more experience out in the field right now

It's mostly fun, though when I think I'm getting myself more into debts each day for someone else's cause is sort of depressing, especially when work is going really well and we're making lots of progress. I understand an internship shouldn't be paid, as they're basically putting time (and thus money) into you, but man I still need to live, right?

But I'll work my way up. By next year july- september, I hope I'll be making some real cash and finally start repaying some debts

field engineer for an oilfield service company. background is EE/CS, job is mostly MechE/ChemE.

cube? sheeeeeeeit. most of the time, i'm chilling in a company truck, breathing some fresh air and enjoying the sun from a field location.

work 10 days on, get 5 off - salaried, plus daily bonus pay when in the field. get on my level, fellas.

I work in the same cubicle barnyard as Office Space, with some very similar stereotypes and dress code. It's hellish to say the least, but that's what you get working in the financial sector. My dream right now is to make a move towards working for a company with a philosophy similar to Valve's were the have shared offices, no dress code, and a policy that enables you to move around depending on the project you're working on.

>you are still dependent on someone else in a higher degree than an employed person
In the exact same degree, sometimes in a lesser degree if a wage slave has a contract.
>>
I work in "an office". It's a pretty sick set up with dual monitors set all around a building that all share a display. I'm a partsman for an oilfield company so the office is actually a small shack full of computers in a warehouse full of engine parts.

Pretty fun job.
>>
We should make fractal pattern shaped cubicle farms.

hot damn, another gas/oil worker.

Got my CE degree like 2 weeks ago, never had the time to work as a student (mostly because I spent my extra time on projects like building robots). Has an interview already, it went well, they then had me write some database Java application as a "test" and now I'm waiting to hear from them again.

>How many of you guys actually work?
I work.

>And how many of you guys actually work in the cubicle barnyard?
Well, we scandinavians call it "open space", but yeah I do.
>>
Going to learn C# and Java so I can make apps for cunts and sell them for $0.99 so I can finally feel like I have a purpose in life.

I work as a Java developer.

Just started though, first real job.

I quite like it.
