4chan now supports de-pagination/infinite scroll. Just click "All Pages" in the page navigation (to the right of Catalog), or select "Always use infinite scroll" in the [Settings] menu (note, you must have the inline extension enabled to use this feature).

The inline extension also now supports enabling the thread auto-updater by default. Just select "Auto-update by default" in [Settings], and threads will always auto-update when you load them.

Forgive me if this sounds really stupid but what's with the shit storm about the NSA this week? We already knew for years that the NSA keeps records of all the world's phone calls, emails, and blog posts without oversight so why is this news? Did I miss an important detail somewhere?

We just like making a big deal about everything because it gives our meaningless lives purpose.
>>
>>34419894 (OP)

I longer sound crazy now that they came clean about it. It was all speculation before. It's like if the reptilian people came out and told everyone they exist.
>>
>>34419894 (OP)
You missed the part where they can order anyone in the world to an involuntary anal probe while dressed up as aliens.

It was all tinfoil hat until now. Confirmed true

Speak for yourself, dildo. My meaningless life is incapable of having a purpose. THat is why it is a meaningless life.

Go be stupid somewhere else.
>>
They just officially admitted to it. Apparently some people think that we still have rights or privacy in modern day society and were very surprised.

You are not paranoid if they really are after you

What did people up to now think that the NSA was building a yottabyte data center for? To hold a hundred trillion copies of every last terrorist's full DNA sequence?
>>

This. Anyone that's surprised at all is fucking retarded. Don't they own more hdd's than any other entity in the world?

because people are stupid

because tinfoil hat faggots made it all sound like another one of their conspiracies

and now suddenly mainstream media is telling us all about it. and its gone from conspiracy faggots to the nightly news. suddenly, shit just got real
>>
Because /g/ likes to rage over dumb shit. Consider the number of iOS vs Android threads every fucking five minutes for fa/g/gots to argue with each other.
>>
>>34419894 (OP)
I like it how everybody is flipping out while it was rather obvious they did this.

It's like nobody ever pays attention to the news unless it's flinged at their faces in bright red flashing letters.
>>
>>34423052
its hardly dumb shit when its confirmed that the government is operating a massive secret unconstitutional spying thing across the internet. its kinda actually a big deal. apathy from people like you makes it so much easier for them to get away with it
>>
>>34423096

How do you propose we stop this, then? Elections don't mean shit when people from both parties are okay with this. Third party candidates aren't viable because there's unlimited money in US politics. And riots/protests aren't going to do shit, either.
>>
Don't worry, there will be a major court trial that will distract most Americans from this controversy.

(Take a wild guess)
>>
>>34419894 (OP)
The news about the splitter for verizon had been around for ages already.
>>
>>34423166
well if the two of us cant figure something out then its hopeless and the whole world should just lube up and bend over...

awareness is spreading. thats all we can do for now. and it does make it harder for the nsa when their secret bullshit is being discussed everywhere.
>>
>>34423288
Most likely another false flag
>>
Microsoft was the first to sign up for PRISM because of their close ties with government agencies and contracts.
>>
then
>Take your tinfoil off, NSA can't do something like that

now
>everyone already knew that whats the big deal?
>>
>>34423288
>Don't worry citizens, these hollow point bullets and armed FEMA security will surely protect you from any further shooting. Also downloading and internet is prohibited until further notice by the martial law all over the U.S. and an intranet has been activated to keep terrorists out. That's all, peace out.
>>
>>34423336
It's the George Zimmerman court case.
>>
>>34423336

Oh Jesus fucking Christ, another Alex Jones faggot. YES EVERYTHING IS A CONSPIRACY TO GET YOU, for fuck's sake.
>>
>>34423456
That's right.
Everything you hear is 100% the truth.
>>

>>

>>34423534

Yes, and you tinfoil hat faggots are keeping the rest of us safe from shit that has no basis in reality. Do any of you ever consider the people peddling this shit are just using you to get rich? Religion does the same shit, too.
>>
>>34423650
>buzzwords
You should consider joining an "enterprise" business, they like that kind of no-content fancy bullshit~
>>
>>34423639
i think alex jones is a conspiracy

he just cranks out a fuckload of bullshit. and then every once in a while he slides in some non-bullshit. and now the non-bs looks crazy tinfoil by association and now only conspiracy faggots that novody listens to will take it seriously. mission accomplished
>>
>>34423650
Yes, there is an organization that makes money from selling people tin foil hats.

Please get your head out of me.

It's already been confirmed that the government is collecting your information, yet prior to this you would have called anyone saying that a tinfoil hatter.
Who was right this time? Who warned you that this was happening? The people you called tinfoil hatters.
At what point are you going to realize this isn't just bullshit being pulled out of thin air?
>>
>>34423791

>tinfoil hatters get one right
>expect everyone to buy everything else they're selling now that they got one right

More to the point, the government spying on its citizens was known when the PATRIOT act was passed. That made it legal. I always thought it was happening. This news does not surprise me. In human history there are probably less than five moments when someone had power to do wrong and gave it up. If the US government has the legal authority to do wrong, you can bet they're exercising it, even without companies admitting to it.
>>
>>34423421
makes me wonder why those government dumbasses have their top secret shit even connected to the internet for China to hack. Is a fellow agent out in the field suddenly gonna need the blueprints for building a jet?
>>
>>34423907
The point is the next time you call someone a tinfoil hatter and dismiss their claim, realize there is a chance they are right and that their claim is not unfounded.
>>
>>34419894 (OP)
I for one had no idea Apple handed over data. I mean just last month we got a NSA paper talking about how hard imessage is to crack.

It did say Apple only recently stared doing it though (Oct 2012) so I know Jobs had nothing to do with it.

Still though trusting Apple is only going to get harder.
>>
>>34423972

A broken clock is right twice a day. I will listen to a tinfoil hatter when they have evidence for their claims.
>>
>>34424088
I am above saying "I told you so," so when I'm right about the next thing, you won't feel to bad.
