    Why hello there!

I'm making an online survey, and I am pretty sure I am going to go by ip address to ensure no samefags, but is there a better way? I know more than one person can have an ip address, especially in the case of universities and colleges.

    Thank you, /g/.

    :)

well there isnt a need to compile anything for my theme. qtcurve from repos will work.

basically debs are prebuilt packages for your system, so when you click on those two ubuntu links for smaragd, make sure you click the deb link after that, ubu will handle the rest.

PROTIP: ATAPI is basically "SCSI on ATA" (the command set is in fact SCSI 10 byte commands). It makes a lot of sense to implement most ATAPI devices as "SCSI".

Assuming you use enough separate proxies and don't overdo it, it could work.

But yeah: it's a stupid idea and the proxies will just get angry and fuck you over by handing your IP over to the Egyptian government.

Probably has something to do with the fact that every person asked in these protests so far is pro USA anyways. As many of them watched Obama's speech last night as Mubarek's. They want us on their side. So at this point it's up to our govt to get off it's lazy shit ass, dump Mubafuck, and back the people. They can start by dropping some M79s in for the siege on the Internal Ministry building.

    >Apple swooped in and changed the gaming market considerably, with a touchscreen-based iOS platform that has put thousands of games on the market at prices low enough to cause a gaming industry executive many sleepless nights.

Add to that the excellent web browsing, media playback, and the otherwise jack-of-all-tradeness of iOS devices and it would seem silly for Sony and Nintendo to ignore the immediate need to co-opt iOS's best qualities: one-stop digital downloads at a central marketplace, at a minimum.

So the iPhone is a superior gaming platform?

Glad I got an iPhone then.

You can't play certain games because they are badly ported. We would be arguing the software.

Games properly ported, will run better on that PC. Shitty ported games, will need a 600$ PC to be playable.
    >> Insomniac !!lawfYekGKss 01/29/11(Sat)16:45 No.15646199
Can you play S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Crysis, Starcraft 2, Audiosurf, or Civ V with just a 360?
    >> Anonymous 01/29/11(Sat)16:45 No.15646205
    >>15646151
I didn't ask for a $200 PC that could run well-ported games from the 360. All the games cited so far in this thread are very popular ones you'd find in almost every library of both 360 and PC gamers. If the PC you built can't play any of them, it's inferior to the 360.

And which games will it run better than the 360? Is Gears of War a good enough port? Or Modern Warfare? It will still not play those better than a 360, don't kid yourself.

They are implying that I was going to buy it. That's the problem.
By your definition, it would be fine to pirate games in countries where they are not expecting any income from. Like third world countries.

Whether they were ported properly or not DOES NOT MATTER.
What does matter is whether they run with comparable graphics or not as per your challenge.

Found an old HP computer, someone threw it out. It had a 350watt in it, 512mb DDR, an Athlon Single Core 2.16ghz, and a 160gb hard drive.

Sold the 350watt, sold the 512mb, and threw the single core in the microwave, but now its time for the hard drive.
I have 2 drives right now, 1 sata tb, another a 60gb ssd.

I hooked up the IDE cable, which is connected to the dvd drive first, to the Hard drive. Yet it won't detect.

I'll post whatever porn I find on it, but you gotta help me get into it.

CRT is a much better technology than LCD.

    1) Perfect black levels
    2) Flawless off-axis viewing
    3) Much faster refresh rate than LCD
    4) Warmer, more natural image (thanks to scan lines and small granules)
    5) Far longer life-span
    6) Not subject to manufacture problems such as dead-pixels
    7) Good range of compatibility with lower or non-standard resolutions without blurring

Given ultimate space and money the world's best CRT could easily crush the world's best LCD. So tell me /g/, why do you like your inferior screens that companies such as Samsung have brainwashed you to think is better than what already existed? The only cost-savings are on their end.

And the funny thing is you guys keep buying this crappy LCD technology and giving away your free CRTs on Craigslist. A fool and his dollar are soon parted I guess.

And before you start yapping about IPS panels:
