Here's the problem with this treaty. It's unconstitutional because there is no due process. The treaty will allow ISPs to terminate internet access because of piracy without providing any evidence.

It's corporate profit protection masqueraded as national security of the highest order and it will kill most of the actual free-market and have one dominated by corporations.

That doesn't change the fact that it's still France.

    >What part of "international treaty" don't you understand?

Lots of countries have laws explicitly against those things suggested by the treaty draft, meaning they just cant adopt it over-night

Your senators won't even care, unless you're donating to his campaign fund. The only possible way to stop this treaty is to go directly to the congressman's offices in DC and visit him in person.

Phoning them don't work, emailing will get you back a form-letter response, and mailing them a letter will take weeks due to the fact that they have to irradiated for any anthrax spores.

Good luck finding the time to visit them though.

Some severe civil disobeyance should put this to an end; they cant cut and charge millions of people; everyone just tell their families and friends; and emphasize the importance of this

also; dos the reporting service by flooding millions of fake copyright claims
