48 KB Yellowish blob on LCD viewfinder Anonymous of College Park,MD 02/17/09(Tue)15:48 No.3568378
    I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD810.

I owned this camcorder for almost 10 months and a few weeks ago I saw a small yellowish blob on the LCD of my viewfinder. When you close the lens you can clearly see the yellowish blob on the viewfinder. I blob also for some reason moved from one spot to another.

The same problem does not occur on the LCD flip screen however, you don't see the blob at all..

The camera works fine and can record without the blob on the final image, and when you actually use the camcorder to record with the viewfinder it's mostly transparent.

Should I bother to send it to a repair shop (sony/third party), or just keep using it?
