New HTML/CSS rolled out two weeks ago. Be sure to check out the new mobile-optimized layout for phones, and inline extension features.

We also added two new themes (first time in 4.5 years!). Thanks to seaweed for porting them over from OneeChan!

We are still working through a few bugs with the new code. Please report any bugs you find to newhtml@4chan.org.

I build Macs. Not real macs.. Hackintoshes. We sell them under the table and have a separate partner to do the OS install. We make about $1000 per machine (these are typically absolute top-end, and saving the customer over $5000). We also do smaller ones, sometimes even in quantity. Apple can never catch us lololol. On the side, we do normal PC sales as well. It pulls in about $80k a year personally, plus insane amounts of buildup in the business bank account for rapid expansion.

The economical system in Sweden isn't good, but it's what we've got. We're pretty much stuck with it until the children of the '40s and '50s are dead.

We need to make the best of what we have, and mooching off of the system isn't helping. A little solidarity goes a long way, etc.

For the record, this is probably the first time I've spoken in favor of socialism,. My head hurts.

I'm a freeter.

I spend most of my time thinking of ways to get stuff for free, either through social engineering or what I have coined "ethical theft". Useful idiots defending the capitalism system would call it fraud or stealing but that view lacks nuance and clarity.

A perfect example of ethical theft that I use to explain the concept to people is walking into a fast food restaurant and filling up a cup you brought yourself and leaving without buying anything. You're not stealing from anyone personally, it's a faceless company, and that company is usually exploitative and harmful on its own so it's not unethical to do harm to a bad-actor.

An oligopoly is not a free market. The world's market has not been free for most of the last century.

Free markets do not work.

>implying an oligopoly is free from government interference.

In the 90s, Apple, one of the major participants of the oligopoly failed. The government saw that it was resurrected.

In the 00s, the banks of America, General Motors etc were all failing. As participants of the oligopoly, they were resurrected by the government.

There is no free market. It's a curtain held before our eyes to hide the fact that we depend on the corporations that seek to subdue us; the googles, the apples, the banks.

Dictatorial socialism (communism) is the ONLY solution.

Say subdued, it's what they want.

Not that you can do anything about it anyway. We are so enslaved to the dollar, that without the oligopoly there are no jobs for us, and as such people such as you - servants of the oligopoly - will starve.
>>
>>25223515
That's a free market, it's just that the government is also investing into the private sector.

There is really no difference between the public sector buying up shares and private entities doing it.

The market is open to everyone.

I worked some lousy bureau job a little more than half-time and applied for a full time job.

I got it and asked plenty times if it's 100% sure that I'll get it. They said yes.

I quit my old job and 3 weeks later my new job fired me before I even started there.

Now I don't qualify for unemployment benefits for 3 months since I quit my old job voluntarily and I have absolutely no income.

Yes, tell me again how the state will just melt away after a huge amount of power is concentrated in it to win the revolution and transform our current society into a communist society.

As little as three months ago, a government watchdog announced that the tax payers of America are still owed towards the sum of 133 Billion from a tax-funded bailout of several participants of the oligopoly.

If the oligopoly we are part of is so "free", then why does the government seek to protect it?

The answer is simply that we are too dependent on being told what to do, what to buy, etc by the oligopoly.

That's fine by me and all, but the market is not even close to being free.

Better get the drinking game out before the murrkans start bashing on their poor for protesting social inequality.
>>
>>25223607
>The market is open to everyone

You're taking an awfully simplified view of an oligopoly here. Also, please stick to one definition of free.

Free can either mean that it is "Free as in freedom", which doesn't apply to oligopolistic countries (the entire western world), or free from government intervention - which also doesn't apply
>>
>>25223113
I own a McDonald's. When you walk into my store and steal pop, you are stealing from me directly. How am I exploitative? You're not describing "ethical theft", you're describing regular, typical nigger theft. Fucking retard.
>>
>>25223648
That's a mixture of government corruption and interventionism policies.

The market is still free.
>>
>>25223754
No it isn't.

You can throw text book definitions of what you think capitalism and democracy are. But that doesn't mean they are necessarily true.

Then I can turn around and throw you marxist interpretations of Communism, and as a result how great the Stalinist movement was. But you and I both know that you're definitely going to contest this (and with good reason).

The oligopoly has reached the point where the influence from large corporations is so great, that they directly control the market. That is, in essence, the opposite of free.

Sure, you ARE free to start your own business in whatever field you want. People do this all the time.

What you are not free to do is provide competition to companies who have greater purchasing power, a direct control over pricing (see for example, the control both mcdonalds and burger king have on the price on the burger/chips/drink standard).

I can put a sheep in an enclosed field larger than it can possibly comprehend, or even walk in its lifetime. But that sheep is not free - it is simply too small to see its prison.
