It's 2012, why do you still use Google? Do you want every aspect of your life to be tracked and sold to third party advertisers?

I don't care one way or another.

People on /g/ behave like this is some new thing in civilization, where people keep tabs on you. We had a VERY brief period of human history where people didn't get all up in your business. It was the time after a large minority of us were living in cities, but before the internet took off. Before then and since then, people were ALWAYS in your shit. You didn't have a right to privacy in any universal sense. Maybe some laws guaranteed that the government wouldn't impose, but at the time it was socially acceptable to drag a dude out of his home and fuck him up just because he was being a bad member of society. That's not a government thing, and you'll notice nobody ever touched that shit because it was always considered natural that people in your town should be all up in your activities.

I'm not saying that it's right, but don't get into a tizzy and throw a fit if Google wrote an equation which showed you adult diapers after you spent all morning googling "shat myself in bed" and "how to clean bed sheets". You have more privacy than anyone in any previous generation ever had, and you're just too much of a fucker to appreciate it.

Address bar is more convenient in my opinion. Automatically selected after opening a new tab and all.

I use the address bar when I can, but it gets in the way when I try to search for something like "196.75" and it thinks it's a website.

So yeah I agree but it gets annoying.

And plus the keyword search thing still doesn't work with the address bar either.
