By not tracking me, DDG returns worse results. To pull an example completely out of my ass, if I were to search for my school: "university" in google leaves my school as the third result, meanwhile it's not the top result in DDG with the 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭'𝘴 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 as the query.

Also I've never used gmail. I went from hotmail (derp) to gmx and I've kept using it ever since.
