Don't worry, you're not actually going to get any job offers.

I work from home, and get paid $15 an hour doing it. Its calling for surveys and shit, but it pays, and all I needed was a phone and an internet connection and a computer. Squareone consulting bitches. I also do this in addition to my full time awake overnight position at a group home for $10 per hour with full benefits. Really, I earn about $10 per hour calling, because im labeled an independent contractor and they dont take taxes out, so I need to save up a little bit out of each check to pay in at the end of the year, but its not hard.

Good luck - make sure you tailor your resume to the job you are applying for in question and do a targeted cover letter for each one - do not rely on a blanket CV that lists generic skills

no its not. I just got OFFERED 3 jobs that I didnt even apply for(WoM works really well for me), and I had to turn them down because I already have 2. If you look in the customer service sector, there are always jobs, and if you look in human services(like group home companies) there are also always jobs, and the pay is decent. As a full time awake overnight, I make $10 an hour, for sitting around and browsing the internet all night, and get full benefits from it, as well as getting 4 days off every week(4 tens per week). its not hard if you look around enough, and follow up. Dont wait for them to call you, call them and ask if the position was filled. It shows that you want the job, and will probably perform well at it.

That's why you have a CV that lists all your skills and experiences, then you tailor the letter that you also send in to the position while trying to bring out how they come in handy.

My dream job. I could be building websites and raking in the cash, or write my novel.

Well, it looks like it's time to look for a job (I haven't worked in 3 years, because I was self employed)

Time to apply before the college and high school kids do so.

    Time for changes.

Has anyone tried independent computer repair? Advice from those who do this?

You place it in the local newspaper, car fliers, or flyer on the telephone pole kind of thing. 3/4 of the battle is getting the customers.

If hardware is broken, do you buy replacement parts? How much do you make off of it?
    >> Anonymous 03/11/12(Sun)11:53 No.23477777
Well, I just emailed a business man - owner of a multi-million dollar company - if he wanted to hire me.

So lulzy, I didn't even submit a resume.
