I got an old HP Desktop from my dad that has a Q6600, and I also have a 6850.

Is it worth it to put these two together and build a gaming rig out of it?

I need a new motherboard and power supply to overclock, and I was thinking of getting another 6850 since they should be getting cheaper with the 7xxx series coming out.

Is this a waste of money? Should I just put in more cash and get a 2500k?

Oh and I already have 8 gigs of DDR2 so I won't need to buy extra ram.
