    VGA is shit.
DVI and HDMI output identical DVI signals.
    HDMI has audio, DVI doesn't.
    HDMI has HDCP, DVI doesn't.
    Some HDMI cables support Ethernet.
DP has its own protocol, yet is visually identical to DVI and HDMI.
DP has optional audio, but no ethernet option.

Any interference degrades picture quality. For digital, the interference has to be stronger than the difference between a "1" and a "0" to make any difference.
    >> ennui !!r1XrQP07hRU 12/22/11(Thu)14:30 No.21785378
    you're all pretty stupid

dp is infinitely superior because the standard is constantly being pushed forward, allowing for more and more bandwidth with each revision. you want 2560x1600 @ 120hz? not gonna get it with hdmi or dvi.
    >> Anonymous 12/22/11(Thu)14:30 No.21785384
