12/21/11(Wed)15:27 No.21764923>>21764707 >After the success of Rakki Star and Haruhi, Lucky
Star wasn't even all that popular, certainly not on the level of K-ON.
Haruhi doesn't count, because it was an adaptation of what was already
an extremely popular novel series, just piggybacking success.
>everyone moved to the bandwaggon that shows shouldn't have any substance That
may or may not be the state of things right now, but every part of the
entertainment business will have overwhelming amounts of shit and small
amounts of good stuff. That's how it's always been in Anime, Film, Music
or anything else. If you google that report on the total value of the
K-ON franchise last month from Nikkei entertainment, you'll realize that
no other similar show even comes close to that level. It's a bit silly
to say that 'talking-head' shows are killing Animu when there's only one
wildly successful one. |
