Most LED keyboards aren't much, honestly, and I do believe it's perfectly OK to pay for aesthetics. If you like the way a certain t-shirt looks, but it costs 5 dollars more than a plain old t-shirt, you should get the t-shirt you want if it's worth 5 bucks to you.

It's irrational to state paying for aesthetics is a gimmick.

It wasn't a personal attack, it's a fact based off of my 22 year observation of other humans. You're continuously avoiding the question, and you tell me I can't "debate" on an intelligent level? Sure kid. Try to actually respond to my statement next comment, ok?

hey faggotanon? Why do I get the feeling you are using sage in an effort to express your contempt for this thread? I mean you are really being a faggot right now, I was wondering if you were really that incompetent. Let me be clear here, I'm not addressing your argument, I'm not interested. I'm calling you a faggot because you are being a faggot.

err... most LCD screens emit light, so your pupils contract and you can't see shit, unless your screen is bright enough to be providing illumination for part of the room, then you have it on way too high. Regardless, most laptop monitors project the majority of their light upwards, perpendicular to the screen, try it out. Hold your hand over your monitor when it's dark.

Most electronics have traditionally come with fairly short warranty periods (one year or less), but in many cases will remain functional and useful for decades afterwards. In the case of most electronic items, it's simply foolish and wasteful to replace them often, and I think it's downright wrong to build/buy stuff just for them to end up in a landfill after a year or two.

Cool, it STILL doesn't change the definition of a gimmick, WHICH IS WHAT THE ARGUMENT WAS ON.

Maybe if you originally had said "All humans are naturally attracted to gimmicks because x", it would've flown. But you didn't. Your original post:

    >>21685845

    >Why these two "gimmicks?"

You asked why those two are considered gimmicks. End of discussion.

Saying "WELL YOU DO IT TOO" doesn't have ANY DAMN RELEVANCE to the topic at hand.

I love my wireless headphones, they sound like shit, i but to be honest i couldnt care less, i barely use them for listening to music, and when i do its streamed from grooveshark and pretty crap quality anyway.

For me the mark up of paying for the wireless is far outweighed by the usefulness of being able to walk round/go downstairs while still listening to what ever is playing on my pc.

Also they have probably paid for themselves several times over since ive had them for about 2 years now and wired headphones last me ~3months before the wire gets caught in my computer chair and gets damaged.
