hm try putting your laptop farther back on a mount so it is both the same level with the other screen and also has better air flow, other than that you are pretty much golden. Also, if airflow isn't an issue, and you don't have money for a stand, just put some books underneith it when you are using it at your desk, and then whenever its not in use just put the laptop away somewhere and also the books

Unfortunately I do not as I rarely use my monitor as an extension for my laptop, but when I did used to use it, I would be ghetto and put five pound weights on my desk and that made it perfectly eye level, was great for ventilation, and was easy to put away when not in use. If you have money and want an actual stand, just go on newegg and search around by top rated, I'm sure you'll find one you like :)

Yeah I'm a minimalist. Money is not really an issue. I just recently started using my laptop as a "desktop". I haven't owned a desktop since the late 90's. So I'm getting use to the whole desktop experience.
