The actual image board script isn't that bad as far as a hack of a hack of an existing script goes. Obviously there are saner alternatives like Wakaba, but we're not going to switch to them any time soon.
What I _would_ like is for nicer HTML output. Something that's a lot easier to parse both for humans and scripts, rather than a clusterfuck of quirks mode tables that makes 90s GeoCities sites look elegant by comparison.
