    This got bought by this random shitty company, and the guy who made it made a better version that actually gets updates called PotPlayer. It's pretty good. Still has an issue with poorly encoded videos stuttering just like VLC though.

    I hate vlc but it has a neat feature - the synchronization. When subs or audio is a little delayed or advanced over video from shitty encodes, it's easy to correct.

    I couldn't find anything like that on mpchc (which I use for everything that's properly encoded), but maybe it's me just being dumb.
