Snort some coke, continue your roids, and then go for a nice nap in a sauna.

    You know, tech talk.
How do each processor chips, motherboards, gpu, mem cards differ with specs and how the future builds will be like
How these certain programs will be needed to set your hardware at maximum specs
How HDD and mem cards work/why they get slower.
When will it be affordable to get bd r/rw drives for your desktop
    etc.

cause on /fit/ we talk about how each lift is better than the other ones by giving reasons, delve into neurological adaptations, talk about micronutrients in foods and which supplements are the cheapest grams per cent, give reasons to why that uneducated personal trainer is wrong by giving sources of an actual powerlifting or olympic lifting coach, talk about how much basic metabolism gets effected while idling or active, talk about the b.s. that scientists have proved wrong but people still believe like how dietary cholesterol is bad for you when it isn't, etc.
    >>19969483
doesn't make sense, healthy lifestyle from both exercise and diet will let you live for a very long time unless you have some genetic fuck up like an artery that takes a sharp angle.

well basically every supplement is bullshit that's overpriced and you'll see brands that mix a bunch of stuff, a good example is N.O. Explode which is just creatine and sugar. another example is those weight gainers, which is dextrose(again, sugar) and protein powder. It's much easier to make your own weight gainer by purchasing some protein powder that doesn't have anything else in it such as ON(optimum nutrition) protein powders, which is cheaper in grams of protein per cent than the cheapest foods for protein such as eggs or milk, by mixing that with some dextrose. also creatine is optional because it only helps slightly when it comes to performance, but to eat just 5grams of creatine you'd have to ravage through about 8lbs of meat, which is ridiculously a lot. so it's simpler to buy some creatine monohydrate if you want to try it out.

for basal metabolism, I forgot the amount but there was an article about how much more % you use per 1lbs of more muscle mass, which simply acted like a multiplier when it came to burning calories. but when you're sitting down the differences are minimal and barely noticeable, while when you actually perform compound lifts is when the differences are clear.

also another interesting thing while being physically idle is that using your brain burns a lot of calories, almost equivalent to cycling if you were around 150lbs. so although you're not causing any muscular hypertrophy, solving puzzles and trig problems will get you a bit leaner

    >breaking news! 4chan actually teaches you things!

I don't know if you haven't noticed, but just about every board on 4chan is pretty fucking advanced in the topic they discuss. I knew absolutely nothing about technology before /g/, and since then I have seriously gotten so far in basic technology knowledge that it would be 2 highschool years worth of teaching. Sure, there are other places that teach technology, but you come out of there as a 1337 hacker. With /g/, you come out a bit gay, but much more respectable. I must admit that /g/ is becoming the new /v/ (which is the new /b/), and took a hard hit during summer. You must not be entering the correct threads OP, and while technology develops faster then anything in the history of the human race, it's not like something new and great comes out every day, so we end up making our default threads.

One more thing, ever since /sci/ and /g/ became their own boards, we have had way too much discussion about software, which is disappointing to me.

Okay, well I was sort of starting to agree with OP, but you lost me. I can appreciate it, but this is an anonymous board, only huge faggots would actually post pics of themselves. Which they did. So you guys are faggots.

yeah I'll still drop by a few times, I'd like to learn what this board can offer

I know most of the time 90% 4chan threads are trash on each board, and I need to be at the right time for someone educated to make those posts.
