I have soldered together the core module and one of the sid modules, it's not that hard. I still have to wait for the parts for the control surface (rotary encoders, shitloads of LEDs, LCD etc.)... What I do is have an initial alarm set on my phone. Then about 3 minutes later, I have another alarm (using nakedalarmclock) set at maximum fucking volume on my PC speakers to blow me out of bed if I don't heed the cell phone alarm.

I have a PCI HDTV card and WMC can use the hardware encoder just fine.

Dunno about Linux HDTV support, but those should be able to stream the MPEG2-TS format to the gpu right?

The catch is they revised it to be more like the Llanos, so it says a 20% performance increase, though I think that's with ram topped out.
