    >that feel when i'm too poor to afford a gaming PC

I should get a job.. but I'm afraid that small income will go towards my food+gas+bills instead of sparing for a gaming PC

Are gaming PCs really just for the upper class rich bastards?
    >> Anonymous 09/08/11(Thu)04:33 No.19892787
They're for people who can save up like $800. Not hard.

I worked minimum wage at a Burger King for a year.
    I made $8970.
    As a high school senior.
Save 1/10th of your paycheck each time and you will be there.

Stop eating prepackaged crap, learn how to cook properly, eat less overall, stop drinking/smoking and if possible cancel your car insurance and take the bus for awhile. You'll have the the money saved up in a few months.
    >> Anonymous 09/08/11(Thu)04:39 No.19892853

It depends on you industry and how you get paid.
If you work service and get paid by the hour, work your ass off an beg for hours.
If you work retail, and get paid on commission, sell everything. EVERYTHING. E.G. if you sell a tv, sella blue ray player, an hdmi cable, and a sataliite box with its.
if you sell a game console sell an extra controller and a game with it.
if you sell a cell phone, YOU'RE GOLD.

    things like that

You know what I hate the most?

Fear that by all the hard work of getting all the money to get a gaming PC, I eventually screw something up or shortcircuit the motherboard or the PC doesn't boot up for some reason.

It's like waiting 2 years to afford a Ferrari and when you want to drive it it doesn't start up.
