denied
paternity of his daughter until she was 9, refused to pay any child
support, mother and daughter lived below poverty line while he had $200
million
screwed wozniak over and over - from little petty shit
like stealing $700 to big things like giving himself extra shares of
company stock without asking woz when they were supposed to be 50/50
partners, and generally taking full credit for everything when they
started and wozniak was doing ALL the work.
many many accounts of
insulting people at work for no reason other than gigantic ego, making
people cry, calling them names. not a "competitive environment" thing,
just him abusing his power and treating people like shit
overworking
people and hyping them up with promises that they were going to change
the world with the mac, telling them they would have schools and museums
named after them to get people to work 24 hours straight, and
underpaying people quite a bit at the time. for instance one hardware
engineer was making $14k at a time when valley avg was 50k+
many examples of private business meetings in which he made outrageous statements about how he invented the pc, etc. etc.
all
the bullshit apple policies like DRM and screwing over small
developers/studios by breaking promises or changing TOS in the middle of
development. google iflow reader for one example
the general
apple strategy of greed, anti-competitive practices and closed systems -
it all goes back to jobs' narcissism and ego.
and among the world's billionaires is near the bottom of the list for charitable donations
